Planned and Endowment Gifts
The Foundation has created The Legacy Society to recognize and pay tribute to those individuals who have made investments in the future of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center through planned gifts. Members of The Legacy Society appreciate the important role the Medical Center plays in the future health of the community. They believe in the Medical Center’s mission, and they have made a financial commitment to help secure its future.
Why make a Planned Gift to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center?
While a planned gift is the key to ensuring a strong and promising future for healthcare delivery at the Medical Center, it also may have important economic advantages for you and your family and enable you to make a much larger gift than you ever dreamed possible, thus providing you and your family with great personal satisfaction.
Making a planned gift may be a very effective tax planning strategy. Planned gifts can be structured to help you save income, and your estate may avoid being substantially reduced by capital gains, estate and gift taxes. The income from certain life income plans may help you to transform low-yielding investments into a new source of income for yourself and/or other family members.
Endowment Gifts
Endowment ensures the future of the Medical Center. Endowments are maintained in perpetuity and held for the specific purpose identified by the donor. Only the annual income earned on the endowed fund is spent for the designated purpose.
