Annual giving is the tradition of contributing at least once a year to an institution that is important to the donor. Gifts to our Annual Fund help sustain the overall excellence of the Medical Center’s programs and services. Sponsoring or participating in one or more of the Foundation’s Special Events or a Community Sponsored Event that designates the Medical Center as a beneficiary of event proceeds, is also an enjoyable way to support the Annual Fund.
Annual gifts may be made on an unrestricted basis, which allows management and the Board of Trustees to apply these funds where they are needed most. Annual gifts also may be restricted to one or more of the Foundation’s special purpose funds, such as The Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center and The Dizzy Gillespie Memorial Fund.
Friends who contribute $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund each year are enrolled in the Leadership Society, a donor recognition program.
